LOL JK JK Jared i just messing with you
for those that didnt know Wyoming was inadverntly omitted from the bassholes union.... just a slight oversite but we got her corrected now!!!....
I went to post a quick report of my happenings this afternoon and couldnt find it....
SOOOO anyways, back on the farm i was ranching some wranglers wiled eyed coyotes. oh wait wrong thread
went out this afternoon to the local "lake" ie Gillette Fishing Lake, a 4-5 acre "pond" here in town... remember fishin it MANY years ago with my snoopy pole and also caught my first ice fish here...... darn it now i rambling on again
ANYWAY i went out this afternoon and took only my 9 ft 6wt Orvis fly rod and my G Loomis Venture reel and played for a cpl hours.... only had 1 bite on the VERY FIRST CAST. Is that a good sign or a bad sign?? was a decent enough rainbow trout but was so excited about some action after a lonnnnnngggggg (so it seemed) winter that i totally fuubarred it and missed... still had a blast and got the ole pumper goin and got some of that red stuff flowing thru my veins.... spent the rest of the time castin and tiein on different flys.... tried working some rust outta these old joints and work on my distance....
forgot how hard flycasting is but i came home and watched some youtube videos and such and relized I BEEN DOIN IT ALL WRONG so now i got me some stuff corrected (at least in my mind) for the next trip...
THANKS AGAIN JARED :tbh:
