I tape mine to keep my hand from getting so cold.
Wrapping Your Rod Seats?
The past few tournaments (Pro Tournaments) I have been to, I have noticed a lot of the pros wrapping their rods where the spinning reels are clamper to their rods. I have seen them use electrical tape mostly. I have noticed people like Gary Klein, Aaron Martens etc... all doing this.
How many of you do this? I must admit I dont even know the purpose of doing it. Cushion since they are holdin the rods all day? Extra security to keep the reel seat from loosening? Something else I am unaware of? I dunno. :dunno:
