YES!!! I came home from work tonight and guess what was waiting for me? a 7 and a half foot hard cardboard tube! Inside it... my 7'1" Medium Xtra Fast G Loomis Mossyback Spinning rod! OMG IT'S SO AWESOME! The instant I held it I could feel the difference between it and any other rod I have ever owned or used! I thought my old All Stars were great but they pale in comparison! Thank you everyone who helped me get my rod!

My new reel will be here Thursday and Saturday the combo will be in my hands on Santee Cooper looking for the mammas! :D I know versatility is the key but I think its gonna be hard for me to lay my new rod down saturday in order to fish anything else. ;D

Thanks again all who helped

So what ya kinda string you going to spool up and what lure you going to hang off the end of this beauty?
Why you gotta go and ask me the hard questions??? LOL

Im gonna spool it with 12lb Yozuri Hybrid, unless I havent got enough left on my filler spool, in which case Im gonna use 12lb AN40. Im gonna experiment at first... I'm going to try a texas rigged with 1/8 to 3/16 oz on it to see how it handles it. Other than that I'm going to also try out soft jerkbaits on it. I think it will fish soft jerkbaits perfectly :)
