Winterkill conditions open Hutchinson area lake to liberalized fishing
Snow and frigid temperatures have combined to make some shallow lakes in southern Minnesota susceptible to winterkill conditions, prompting the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR) to open them to liberalized fishing.
