where did they go?

i've been fishing a highland reservoir that has been in a 2 1/2 year drought. the lake has risen 14 feet over the last week but remains pretty clear .the water temps run about 64 degrees down to 20 feet. i hear the fish are bedding but have'nt seen any beds. i had a hard time marking fish and establishing a depth they were using. i caught a few on top waters and flukes but not the numbers before the rains came. my question is," where did they go?" i tried c-rigs,swim baits, drop shot, top water and flukes. today i'll try tubes and jigs. any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Those fish will follow the water up. They are shallow up in the new grass. Try to get way back in there. I would throw a spinnerbait or a chatterbait and a fluke type bait. When Truman Resivior flooded in 1993 I was having the same problems. The Lake was 28 feet above flood stage. We were catching fish out of peoples back yards. To launch you just backed down a road until you had enough water to get your boat off of the trailer.
