Looking to buy a Lowrance a HDS-7 Gen2 with stucture scan to mount at the bow/trolling motor but don't know which transducer I need. The transducer in the catalog looks the same as the old trolling motor transducers. Help please.

If you are only going to be doing 2d sonar then the regular transducers that have been around for several years 83/200 kHz skimmer or puck works from the lcx to the hds units.

If you want side and down scan then you'll have to by the lss box and the lss transducer. That is about another $600.

George the unit your talking about comes w/the correct Transducer for it so don't worry about it just use what comes with it! problem solved!!!!
