The rig I use most often is an All Star 6'6" medium action spinning rod with a Daiwa SS Tournament SS1600 spinning reel spooled up with 20lb Power Pro braided line. I've had both the rod and the reel, and had them paired up together, for 15 years now

My buddy Tim, tighe on here, uses st croix almost exclusively. I have had the chance to cast and use his rods at times. They are very nice feeling and handling rods!
