Kevin just got back from a week end fishing trip and got caught in a bad storm for about 2 hours and rods where on the deck of the boat, should I get them ready to send to you for a good cleaning or do you think they will be alright. Thanks deadstickin.

Normally, rain won't hurt them. I would keep an eye on them to see if they felt any different. It's a lot worseto get dunked because it can fill the reel everywhere.

Dunking can screw with them .In May I flipped my yak and retrieved my poles off the bottom.Took them home and cleaned the reels out next day, just to be on the safe side...
