I tape allot of fishing shows so this probably came on this weekend or sometime this week. Maybe yesterday? Anyway, it had Stacey King Shiner fishing with John Fox here in Florida. Even though they tried to hide where they where fishing I recognized it and it was Garcia Reservoir. (They said Central Florida at the top of the show)

So if you guys got to see that show then you will know what I have been fishing lately. I said to myself when they where shiner fishing in the canal with the reeds on both sides hey that looks like Garcia. Then I actually recognized the exact location as it is a north south canal that is how you get to the flats. They eventually went to the flats and caught a few nice bass. (Same flats I have been wearing them out on with of course the red traps)

There is an outside chance it could be in the everglades. I actually have never fished there so it is possible it could look identical. But I am almost positive this was filmed at Ansin Garcia where I fish every weekend.

John Fox lives in Ocklawaha which is north of me near Lake George. To go to the Everglades would be a long long drive for them. However, they could be at Garcia in 3 hours or less.

Anyway, I thought it was cool to see that. So if anyone gets to see it this is where I fish most of the time.

Isnt it awesome when ya flip on a fishing show and you see them fishing in your backyard? I always try my best to record and save all the ones I see :) I recorded the one you are speaking of but havent watched it. I will have to watch it this evening.
I need TEVO ( or however it is spelt )

I think the last fishing show I seen is the BPS ( strike king ) and it had George Cochran on it .

I record all of the Bass Pro Fishing Series.

I could try to record some of the shows for you if you like. I don't know how to do it right now but will give it a shot. Just let me know.
Thanks for the offer, but im sure it be to much of a headache.

I just got to remember to check the listings more often and TRY to watch them.

I am so glad that I have a DVR with Brighthouse cable. Some of these shows come on at onscure hours. It is fun to watch them and fast forward through all the commercials haha.

It even allows me to use the PIP feature on my tv. I used to never be able to use it as it required 2 receivers. Now with the DVR it does because it has 2 receivers. So I flip back and forth to different shows sometimes.

If you have a chance at getting it it is worth it.

I know what you mean! lol I have had tivo for about 6 years now and i am SOOO spoiled by being able to rewind fast fwd and skip commercials. When I driveto work and i miss something on the radio or when i have gone to the theatre to see a movie with the family, I will, all too often, find myself reaching for the remote to rewind or pause LOL

This show wasn't "the bass pro's" show but "the Bass Pro Shops Fishing" show. I get those 2 confused as they are both very similar. THis aired Wednesday as that is when I recorded it.
One of my pet peeves is live bait fishing during pre spawn and spawning periods. Stacey King should be skilled enough to catch bass with lures. Roland Martin shiner fished to promote his business and I lost all respect him. What is King promoting..BPS and they don't sell live bait. When will this sport ever learn, you don't bite the hand that feeds you or kill big bass in their nursery. Yes they released them, however big bass are very fragile during pre spawn and spawning periods and it takes special handling so they don't go into shock. I haven't watched this program, but know from experience how these video's are made and the big bass are not treated well. If the bass has it's dorsal fin flatten, when out of water, it's either dying or going into irreversible shock. When you look at a photo of a bass being held, look at the dorsal fin, sticking up indicates a healthy bass, it's their defense reflex. Please handle with care.

Either way, I still recorded it. They both will show the same thing just at different times of the week.
What do you think happened to all those hogs that Rojas caught a few years ago at Toho in that BASS tourney?
G
I agree Tom.

Imonembad, I hope they survived.

On my T.V. they come on sometime after 12:00pm on channels 606 and 608. I have to record them because I'm at work. I preset them to record.
you can find more bass shows on the outdoor channel, and there are some on the water channel.dishnetwork and direct tv make it easy to find programs by simply searching the keyword fishing, bass, cable is out go for the dish
record everything delete wat u don't want to see. nice boat by the way we might have to find some water in between us and make a day trip.

I watch VS and the Outdoor channel. VS used to be TNN it has allot of shows on all week.
whats VS stand for?
G
Versus or Verses (VS). I can't remember. LOL I think it is the first one though. It is the name of several tv series that is plays within this group.
G
You guys don't watch VS? If you used to like TNN then VS is basically the same thing. They also show NHL hockey games too. But they have a bunch of fishing shows on it.

It means Versus.
Guess I might have to look into switching to a dish. Cable is so outragous it isnt funny. And they dont have any good programming. Just the fishing and hunting is enough to put me over the edge make the switch
