Wasn't pretty but I WON!!!

Well, yesterday's tourney was rough. Blue bird skies and dead calm wind. Visibility was about 6'. I caught 2 fish 4-4 and 3-6 for an even 8 lbs. I actually caught about 30 fish but they were all short. Seems everyone had that problem because out of 35 entries there were no limits, 1 four fish, a few three fish, and alot of 2 and 1's. 10 guys zeroed. I won total weight and big bass. I received a little over $400. It was so awesome. Next tourney is at Rayburn in January. By the way, for any non-boaters that are curious, this is what I did on my trip. I got to my boater's house at 3 a.m. He wanted to leave at 3:30. At our first stop I gave him $40 for gas. I netted as needed and so did he. I did not cast over, around, or in the same spot he was in. When he said let's move, I had my gear stowed and in my seat with vest on before he sat down. I was always ready to go when he was. After realizing I had won, I received my money walked over to Ed and gave him an additional $60 and bought his dinner. It was a great trip.

What a great trip! Congrats! Sounds like you are a great non-boater!
Excellent job Joe!! Way to woop some tail there buddy! :cheers:
WTG !!!!! Looks like we both did ok this weekend . < well, ok you did GREAT, I was just ok >
Thanks guys ::)
wished you lived by me the last non boater I had didnt offer any for gas and cleaned out half of my snacks and water. Congrats on the win and kudos for the lesson in CLASS.
That's a shame!!!!! I did bring all my own snacks and drinks. I don't think a non-boater should be able to fish if they don't contribute to the cause. I am getting a boat after the first of the year, and if that happens to me it will be back boat city baby!!! There is a responsibility for all non-boaters to help with cost in my opinion. It's not a right to be able to tag along with someone else, it's a privilege that should not be taken lightly.
