I have several brands, and G Loomis is the gold standard. PERIOD. If you don't want to spend the money, Falcon is great(they might be using G Loomis blanks 
), and I haven't had any problems out of BPS rods. Their Johnny Morris combos are worth the money indubitabibabibably. :clap: On the other hand, I will never pay for another shakespeare product as long as I live. they are :banghead: :flip: :cussin:&^%$#%^&^%$^&**&^%^&
