To grandmother's house I go!!!!!

Anticipation is killing me!!!!! Friday, after I get off work I am heading to Louisiana to G-mas. Due to work, I have gone the longest stretch (5 mos) without seeing her. She is truly the greatest woman on the face of this earth!!! It was her and my g-pa that came and got me out of jail when I was 18. They put their house up for my bail and I went to live with them. Stayed for 6 years after that. It was there that I learned what it was to be a man. Not just any man but a good man. At my g-pa's funeral, I spoke on my g-ma's behalf. It was tough and I still get a lump thinking about him sometimes. If I become half of the man he was, then I'll be happy. Anyways, it's 42 steps from the back porch to Black Lake. Nothing but Cypress trees and Cypress trees. Did I mention Cypress trees? All my family will be there. Most, I haven't seen since this time last year. Can wait!!! Safe trips everyone!
