After a long mild stretch to the beginning and middle of winter, the recent actic air mass that has swallowed the mid-section of the country has produced around 12 inches of ice in most backwaters of the Mississippi River. Good numbers of Ring Perch and Crappie are being reported in town lake on pool 13 near Sabula, Iowa. More to come as I hear reports
