With the 2nd stop of the BASS Tournamen Trail landing on Sam Rayburn Reservior in Texas, the field was wide open for any angler to win the tournament. With Ish Monroe winning on Amistad, a lot of people thought that he would be make a run for the second tournament. He did not disappoint, but it was another angler that some had "forgotten" about that came surging to the front of the page.
Greg Hackney, from Gonzales, Louisiana, won the 2nd event on the Southern Swing of the BASS Tour.
