I love using a pumpkin lizard in the summer months. Bass are sluggish during the hot of the day, but they always will destroy a lizard brought right infront of them

I believe you should always adjust to the seasons when targeting a certain fish. As a professional Galveston fishing guide I am always changing my tactics and bait choices according to the weather conditions and time of the year. This is very important and a lot of anglers don't do it. Summertime can be tough if you don't adjust to what the fish are doing. Thy are usually not as aggressive and feed certain times of the day. We never to experienced to learn.
