This news just out yesterday. As I understand it from a VERY reliable source, Stratos is now retooling and as the next two year progress will become a LOW end Ranger. It is not known if they will keep the Stratos name or not. They are in the process now of "lowering" the quality and of course the price of a Stratos.

Ranger (JenMar?) has been offering the Stratos line as a package for over a year. Stratos does have a good entry line however if the "value engineer" the boat who knows?

My brother owns a stratos. It is a sweet boat. He out ran me in his stratos against my ranger.. He really has it dialed in...

Dont want to step on anyone's toes but ever since Genmar started buying up everything IMHO they have done nothing but MESS THINGS UP! to put it nicely. Hopefully they will open there eyes and see eventually what they are doing to themselves and back off of there strategy ........ifn ya can call it that...........and let the companies go back to building the boats that they are used to building.
