Southwest Virgina bass fishing

Hello! I'm excited about being a member here! I live in southwest virginia. I've been a bass fisher since I was a kid but only have experience in rivers (wading and kayak fishing). I recently purchased a jon boat and am anxious to learn all about lake fishing...places to go, technique, lures, ect. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
