Soaking Wet!!!

Went fishing Sunday with my son and a local police officer that I met through the Bass boards. Anyways, my son was a little nervous about fishing out of a 16' canoe and finally, after a lot of reassurance he decided to go. His faith in his father unwavered. Michael, the officer,(duh Joe), got in the canoe and sat at the back. Landon got in, a little nervous, and sat down. I was just about to shove off when somehow as he reached to let the trolling motor down he begin to s-l-o-w-l-y fall backwards. SPLASH!!!!!!!!!! He went completely underwater!! Landon grabbed the sides, had these really big eyes, and said,"Oh no dad, forget this, I'm waiting in the truck til you get back!!! It was so funny. I was in tears and am cracking up now . I just wish I had a pic of his face. Anyways, Michael was soaked but what a man, he had a spare change of clothes in his truck, (this must have happened before) and we went fishing!!!! I told him we could leave if he wanted to but he wouldn't hear of it. God, I love going fishing with a true fisherman. Enjoys the laughs, I sure did!!!!!! ;D
