SLBA October Tournament ( Lucy Chain )

The South Lake Bass Anglers Fishing Club held it’s monthly fishing tournament at the Lucy Chain of Lakes. Launch site was at the Public Boat Ramp. First place went to Mark M of Groveland with 2 fish weighting 7.72#. Mark also took big bass honors with a 5.72# bass. Second place was Dave S of Orlando with 4 fish weighting 6.68#. Third place from Clermont was Paul M with 4 fish weighting 4.57#. Fourth place goes to Al S of Clermont with 4 fish weighting 4.52#. Fifth place was Brian H of Clermont with 5 fish weighting 4.44#. The club had 20 entries with 16 anglers bringing 34 bass to the scales for a total of 47.43 lbs. 4 anglers did not bring any fish in. All fish were release back to be caught again. The South Lake Bass Anglers next meeting will be Tuesday November14th at the Holiday Inn Express in Clermont. The clubs next tournament will be on the Holly Chain of Lakes.
