mine was the web also if they would put some better shows on i might change my mind,but i dought it

you can read EVERY magazine right here from the couch.

I have learned more from you bassholes and discussing it with you than I have in a lot of years. I'm tired of the catalogs. If i wanted a catalog I'd order one.

I cant disagree with that statement. I love the magazine and have them from 1968 to current, with some gaps of course but not many Its my bible so to speak. But still, I cant ask the mag a question and get answes within hours like I can on The Bassholes :thumbup01:

Though there is one option that is better than everything for learning about fishing thats not on the list and that is... Fishing... aka being on the water

Internet all the way. Do they still make magazines? Never get magazines and never want to again. They just clutter up everything anyway.

I still get Bassmaster, and I've thought about ordering Bassin' mag. Bassmaster has become less and less impressive to me over the last couple of years, though. I doubt I'll renew again. All it is now is coverage of the pro tour, and idolizing the pros on the tour. :cussin: I miss the days when I really wanted to read it cover to cover. And they've all but dropped my two favorite anglers, Harry and Charlie. They used to get a three page spread, now they gey less than half a page.

There is no doubt that I have learned more from the informed Bassers who post on the Bassholes than from any other source. Thanks to each and every Basshole member,take a bow!! :thumbup01: I do miss the Harry and Charley adventures in Bass because it reminds me---of me! Other than that, ESPN has ruined the mag, ruined the Saturday morning fishing shows, and I will probably won't renew after this year. Cheers to the Bassholes, each and every one!! :chug: :chug:
