Dale Washington was fishing in 20ft of water with a DD 22 on lake Fork when he caught a 13.05 largemouth. That fish became the #436 entry to the program. Come to find out that same fish was also #415 caught Arpil 5, 2006 by Robert Jones. Each fish has a passive integrated transponder tag inserted in the fishs abdomon. When it was recieved at the center it was scanned and the hidden history was revealed. The fish was only .04 heavier and had the same length and was 1/2 in. smaller in girth. Just something I thought you would like to know.

That happened once before also. Someone caught a 14lber I believe and instead of returning the fish to Lake Fork they kept it and put it in their pond once it was returned to them. 1 year later the fish was caught again and was just barely 13lbs so it actually lost 1lb in a year but was entered twice also.
