Today a buddy of mine who is pretty tight in the SC fishing scene reported to me that Saturday a stringer of 5 bass was caught and released on Santee's lower lake.

The 5 fish weighed 42lbs!!!

WOW!!

The kicker (as if they all werent kickers LOL) was nearly 11lbs.

The fish in Santee are definitely moving up and the pre-spawn is in full swing.

I'd bet around Angels, or the backside of Blacks, SS campground area on deep water, or the old Hatchery area.

Im betting your right. Perhaps even out near Russelville Flats. That area is notorious for monster sacks. Wherever they were fishing, I wish I could have followed them around
