Fished Big Sam for 4 days. Water was slightly stained to clear depending on what side of the lake you were fishing. Lake was at full pool and water temp around 70 to 73. Found fish in pockets around the buck brush from the 147 bridge to buck bay. Didnt matter what pocket just as long it had buck brush and no slime green moss. Fished with Zoom green pumpkin trick worms wacky style. dyed the tip chart. for a little color. fish ranged from 14 in to 5.50lbs. Had to fish slow and let the worm set on bottom. Fish would not hit it on the fall. Also had a good bit on senkos but those fish were small. Best colors were watermelon/red or watermelon/gold. Spinnerbait bite was not there. Tried for all 4 day and no takers. Tried topwaters to had 1 blowup on a Ribbit and one on a buzzbait and thats it. Going at the end of the month hopefully the topwater bite will be better
