Well, for the past couple of days we have been getting some much needed rain. It has kept me from having to water the plants lol .

I have a feeling im gonna get wet tomorrow during our tournament. I have a ' cheap poncho ' packed in my tackle box incase it does rain .

Hopefully if it comes down hard we can find an empty boathouse to get under.

As much as we need rain, it wouldnt hurt my feelings any if it waited till 3:00pm to rain. ( tournament is over at 2:00pm )

Not if it pouring like heck . , As in flash flood style ! .. which we been getting to start with, before it ' drizzles ' here in Central Fl.

Seems the first 10 - 20 minutes it is coming down horizontal and hard out of the west. ( around my area anyways )

Plus the boat I will be in is an aluminum Tracker with a 50hp . We will think of safty first, fish second lol

Not to mention that southern largemouth that reside in these shallow grassy lakes quite often react must harsher to weather changes (barometric pressure changes) than northern largemouth do. It's one of the few things that I like better about northern largemouth... they are more resilient to weather changes than southern largemouth are. Now if we get steady rain for a day or more... then the fish really turn on but generally when the pressure first changes and the storms first roll in it can become very hard to convince them to bite... it can be done obviously but man its a pain in the rump.

Well, True to form it came came down HARD for about 15 minutes. We had rain gear on, but after a few minutes we opted for a boat-house.
We took a lil lunch break you might say lol. After about 10 minutes under the boat-house we went back to fishing.
