After some long hours testing and adjusting things i have finally got my boat proped right.
2000 Stratos 21 SS Extreme 2004 Johnson 150 h.p. Went from a Raker 26P by 14.5 to a Cyclone 19P by 14.25 4 blade, old prop was running 4300 rpms at wot,43 mph, with the new prop i have achieved wot of 5500 rpms and 53 mph, not winning any races but a scared rabbit out of the hole with a full tourny load ,2 guys ,54 gallons of fuel and both livewells full, couldn't be happier! :dance01: :victory:  :canada:

Sounds great wayne, I have a 2000 21 ss extreme myself and I love the boat, its a fine ride. If you ever get the chance to throw a 250 on the back she will truly fly. :thumbup01: :thumbup01: :thumbup01:

The reason you have a bigger prop is because you have a smaller boat. With a 23p prop he'd never reach optimal RPMS because the motor is just to small to turn it on a boat that big. I believe that boat is rated for a 250 so in some peoples eyes its underpowered, but if it works it works. Speed isn't everything.

How much did that prop run you and how does it lift? Been thinking of switching to a 4 blade for better holeshot but need one that wi make the boat lift like a 3 blade would. I remember seeing a pic of a Cyclone and the way the rake is it looks like it would be a good lifting prop so...I'd need a 23p for my 200hp on a 19' Charger.

EDIT: After some quick searching Cyclone is a brp prop isn't it?
