Scott ( my boater ) & I have pre-fished the Harris Chain 2 times so far ( and he fished it once by himself )

We found a few fish in Little Lake Harris the first day we pre fished.

We concentrated on Lake Eustis yesterday. ( fished alot where Peter T won the Harris event last year )

I had 3 ' taps ' the entire day on an ALLURING SENKO . I honestly believe those where ' pan fish ' bites. Scott landed one legal bass and one about 5 inches off of a lipless crankbait.

If Scott can do it, we will go again this coming weekend to try to find more fish.Or at least eliminate more water..

Our tournament will be launching out of Lake Eustis and so far it looks like we will make the run to Little Lake Harris . Scott has a Tracker with a 50hp so we will have a time consuming run if we cant find fish closer.

Our tournaments are normaly the 3rd Saturday of the month ( except December, where its the first Saturday ) BUT for some reason or another we are holding it on the 4th Saturday this month.

Scott and I went pre-fishing again today. We desided we would make the run to Little Lake Harris and fish the spot we fished the first day. This way we would know exactly how long it will take us to get there and back. ( we have along ways to idle going through the Dead River... No wake zone or maybe it says minimum wake zone... either way it eats valuable time up for us ...... 30 minute run one way )

The weather today was overcast and the fish we had found the other week wasnt in the same place. ( It was a sunny day when we found them, then ) We finaly found some fish and they was hitting a white Horny Toad and plus we got a couple on a watermellon-red plastics. ( when it was sunny I got mine off of a junebug color ) Scott was able to land one off the lipless crank as well.

Hopefully the fish will be there next Saturday , even though I doubt we both get a limit. But if the Horny toad bite stays hot and we dont lose any we may get the limit ( Big IF lol )
( Just need a couple of fish to try to stay in the top 10 in points. Thats what I am aiming for , anymore will be iceing on the cake for me lol )
