I went to see a friend and former co-worker yesterday in Titusville, he lives on a pond. I only fished for 1 1/2 hours, I caught a 2 1/2 pounder on the second cast with a red shad Senko wieghtless and another 1 1/2 pounder about a half hour later. I missed two other bites. There was a stiff cool breeze blowing and it was around 10:00 a.m. He likes to sit on the back porch and watch me catch a few
The visit was more to see my buddy who has terminal cancer and had been asking his wife if it was me coming to the door everytime the doorbell rang, that's one of those things that really gets to you. He just recently was unable to work any longer because of the cancer is beginning to affect his brain. This is an absolute terrible thing to watch some dying right in front of you. I'm sure there are quite a few others out there who been through similiar situations. My uncle past of the same thing several years back.
I will be going to fish for fun tomorrow on West Lake Toho with a buddy from the club, I'll post a report on Monday.
