just an amazing fight would have to compare to a small mouth for the fight they put up.

Yep, we have em' down in South Florida everglade canals. Where did you catch these? Nice Job - do it on topwater jerks? Too much fun and action

that was the first type of bass that i caught when i was 5... never forget it. We had a few canals in north Miami Fl. and me and my Dad used to tear the peacocks up. Did anyone catch the show i think is was called trophy hunters , those guys were catching HUGE peacocks in the Amazon...loked fun! Dave

Yep, that was a cool show, especially when the episode where they guy stuck that huge topwater bait treble hook in the guides head.

if i remember right they all came from the cypress creek canal,and were all caught on a RED (keith) rattle trap

check out www.amazontours.com for some nice peacock bass pics. One of the docs I know went down there last summer and caught a few. said they taste like chili and sea bass. also said the tastiest fish they ate down there was PIRANHA
