Hey guys! Sorry i haven't been around i've been super busy and i just got back from florida and did a little fishin'. No, this pic isn't a bass but it was GIANT. It's a Tarpon around 75 inches or so and way over 100 pounds just thought you guys would like to see this monster! It was kinda a birthday present to fish down there and man it was fun. We also ended up catching about a zillion catfish and lost a giant shark early in the morning which sliced right through the leader. Estimated at around 10 feet long or so. Pretty fun day!!  ;D

That's a big head

Awesome Adam! I've always wanted to fish for tarpon. Supposedly people fish for them pretty successfully on the SC coast but I have yet to try. Id really love to topwater fish for them. Ive seen them do that on TV and MAN what an awesome site that is! KABLOOOOOOOSH!! lol

Great pix Adam! Thank you for sharing :)

Glad you like them jared! :D Haven't talked in a while how've ya been??

But take my word for it, if you ever find a good guide, take advantage and definitely go and do it. it was the coolest fishing experience i've had! Seeing those things rolling on the surface and casting at them is something you won't forget, especially when they jump a mile out of the water!! lol it's awesome!

We fished in an interesting spot, roughly 18 miles inward of the gulf but still in saltwater and the guide said it is THE spot for this time of year and they just stack in there and he was right. We saw probably between 1 and 2 hundred tarpon. it was great. We met the guy we fished with in Clearwater and i was staying in Lakeland :D
