Night fishing success

My brother-in-law and I went out tonight and fished in our mini lake. He was using a blk spinnerbait with only one colorado blade and I was using a buzzbait. We both boated 2 fish a piece and maybe lost 3 total. Here are some pictures. Not too bad but could be better.

Nobody wants to see dead bass Tex. :-\
They are not dead in the picture.  I did clean them after I took the pictures but they were alive for the snap shot.

One more thing, that is my brother-in-law holding his fish that he caught. The fish on the tail gate were the same ones he was holding in the other pictures and the rest were what I caught.
Let me rephrase for you.  You seem to have missed the point.

Nobody wants bass dead Tex
Uhoh, Its his ' right ' to keep bass for eating, so lets TRY to be nice here, ok. ( I dont want this to get out of control )

Some of us would agree and practice catch and release, as it is a great thing. However there is nothing wrong with catching dinner either.

Now, if you want to start a debate on keeping or releasing bass, go for it. Just start a new thread.
Uhoh, if you are here to enjoy exchanging bassin info and stories with the rest of us then fine, but if your only intention is to pick on bigtex then I need to ask you to stop it. There is no written law that disallows the harvest of bass for consumption. Many people do it on occassion, even many pros. Without proper harvest in a body of water the population can become stunted or negatively affected. Its a fact that can be read on most any DNR website.

And as Fish said, by all means feel free to start a discussion of this in a new thread if its something you feel passionately about. Thats what this site is all about: discussions, from all points of view, in a mature rational manner. :)
