went out to the local resivoir today and took my 5 year old girl and 3 year old boy by myself.wasn't bad till the little nats started flying around then i thought i had 2 girls. never have i seen a BOY so scared of something so small. so we left befor i strangled him. stopped at the go to hole so i didn't get skunked again, caught around 30 to 40 little bluegill none of them big enough to eat. and my first ohio Bass he was only about 6 or 7 inches but still the first one of the year.
wish i coulda gotten some pics but i guess the wifes mouse on her computer is more important :cussin:

Yea, kids are great. My boys were both older, about teenagers and we were on Okeechobee. The wind died down and its a day they won't forget. We were covered head to toe with gnats on the non windy sides of our bodies. What's a few bugs when you're fishin?

Well, I might be an adult by age but not by feelings when it comes to gnats and bugs. Believe me in Florida it is something else. Windy days are a godsend as without wind you will be hating life when all the gnats start roaming all over your body and ears and sunglasses haha.

I know carry raid for flying insects in my boat. Trust me it is worth every penny
