This is only my personal opinion, but I think many jig colors are like cranbait and plastic colors and are more to catch the fisherman. I was a bit overwhelmed with the magnitude of the multiple color options I could make and how would I narrow down what to make.......I really only make a few color combos that work in different situations. Kind of boring, but black and blue and a straight up brown get the call alot for me......I would find colors you have confidence in and stick with perfecting them.
