Hooked up my new all charge system today and I'm doing something wrong. At first I hooked the batt 1 cord from the all charge to the battery where the negative lead runs to the trolling motor and batt 2 cable to the positive lead that runs to trolling motor. I plugged the unit together the light blinked on the all charge then went off. I realized it was wrong and that I needed to have batt 1 cable connected to the battery with the POSITIVE lead to the trolling motor. I'm pretty sure I have it hooked up right but there are no lights coming on within the unit so I'm not sure if it's correct. Should I be seeing lights or not necessarily if the cranking battery isnt pumping over thirteen volts?

I have a 36 volt system and I did leave the bank charger hooked up so I can use it as a back up. I plan on unplugging the all charge if I decide to plug in the four bank charger.
