I had this spinnerbait body in my tackle bag, and after remembering Bergy and the Sizmic Toad Jr., I decided that it would make for an interesting spinnerbait. :) So, what do you all think about it?

Nice, got another??? LOL

I got 4 of the frog bodies left. I e-mailed Bergy about where I can get them, and he said that you go the Uncle Josh website, and click on Sizmic.

As for the spinnerbaits, that is a spinnerbait from Retriever Lures. www.retrieverlures.com
I dont see why it wont work. People use a fluke on spinnerbaits, so it should work .

Yea, it looks great in the water. LOL Too bad the reel that I have it on is over-greased and wouldn't cast the lure more than 10 ft. So, I am going to take it apart today, and take a little grease off of it.
I'd scrape that paint off the arm above the head. I can picture a bass studying that and passing on it. It's those little things that matter. I use frogs on skirtless spinnerbaits too, 5" swimbait bodies on 1.25 oz rigs, etc. Anything different is better.

I caught bass on it before, when it had a skirt, and they never noticed the paint on the arm. LOL ;D

How old is that bait? I haven't seen brass bearings like that in a long time.

Um, the spinnerbait was made by Retriever Lures in 2004, I believe. It's not that old of a lure.

I just haven't seen that type of brass in a long time. I didn't know that they still used that material.
