Our club held its May tournament on East Lake Toho today. ( as soon as the offical report is done I will post the results in the proper forum )

We had a pretty good tournament, but no BIG FISH was landed. I Think the biggest was 3 + pounds , and heaviest weight was 7+ pounds ( 5 fish )

I landed 1 short fish ( 11 1/2 inches ) ... ( had to be 12 inches with our exemption cards ) Had a few wrap me up and get off... BUT I was able to land 4 keepers for a weight of 5.70 pounds. 3 of the keepers came off a Zoom Finese Worm in Junebug with a 1/4 oz weight pegged . We'd pitch into the reeds & grass and shake it gently. My other keeper came off an ALLURING SALTY TRICK STICK in Junebug ( Senko Knockoff ) weightless.

That's pretty good, Rodney. I love those Zoom Finesse Worms. Were the ones that you used the 4" Finesse or the 6" Trick Worm?

Can't wait to see how you did. :) How did "ZZ Top" do? ;D
Re: May 20th West Lake Toho

They was the Finesse ones, 4 3/4 inch ..... http://www.basspro.com/servlet/cata...arClassCode=7&hvarSubCode=1&hvarTarget=browse

I believe Bo ' ZZ Top ' landed 5..

If I looked correctly at the weigh in sheet I came in 11th place out of about 26 . ( Not sure how many anglers was there . just guessing at 26 )

There was probably 6 - 10 that zero'd out.

Also we had an angler from the B.A.S.S. Southern Tour fish with us for fun. Terry ' Reb ' Bloom along with his wife and John's wife went . ( John aka ' Dog ' is Terry's brother and in our club along with his son John jr. ) I didnt see the fish, but John jr told me Terry had landed 2 bass that was over 5 pounds each.

Sounds like a decent day on the water had by most during the tourney. Glad to hear that Bo did well. :)
