CLARKS HILL IS DOWN 3.3 FEET, 44 DEGREES AND STAINED

Bass fishing is slow and the water is still cold. Spoons in the 1/2 ounce sizes are the best winter time lures in and over old trees and natural structure. Watch for any suspended fish and hit them in the head with a spoon. It will be hard to get strikes all week. Use dark lizards or a French fry worm on a light Texas rig and small hooks. Light line will be a good choice and slow presentations will keep baits right in the strike zones
