Went sat. to do a little pre-fishing for BFL Tournament. We started out the guy I was with(boater) third cast he caught a nice spot on a fluke. My Second cast I caught 2 - 2 1/2lb crappie on Lucky Craft pointer. We didnt just tear em up but caught some fish. We boated 14 fish. Total for the day 2-for him 12-for me :victory: Only two of mine was crappie. He asked what kind of jerk bait it was and he said he had a rogue that same color and stared fishing. I boated three fish while he was fishing his rogue. When the wind picked up I started throwing a blade. I caught few and started missing some good fish and didnt have a trailer hook. He said I've got one that color and tied one on and caught his second fish. I borrowed a trailer hook from him. Ill post a pic of the giant every bit of 8.
Inches that is!! By later that day this guy would keep lookn at what I was throwing and if it wasnt the same he would change baits :rofl1: All in all it wasnt a bad day of fishing. Iv said it once and ill say it again If I've gotta spend a little extra to catch more fish I'll be broke doing it!!!! In my openion once again LC are worth the money!!!

To be honest I never really fished a jerk bait(muchless LC) until last year. Went to sportinggoods store just before a tournament last year and I knew the guy from doin most all my business there and he told me about them and said " If you dont catch any fish then I will personaly give you your money back" I though what a deal I cant loose.
I did catch some fish with it. Didnt win Tournament but did get some money. Thats how it all started.

Jerk jerk, pause, somtimes I would change it up but they can not stand the pause. That is when they would nail it. Sometimes i would just wait on the pause longer than normal and it seemed like they hated it even more.

Nice report AB. I do not own many LC's. I seem to do ok with other brands. But all lures have their place and most of it is confidence anyway.

Chartreuse shad is what iv been useing just went an bought two more for tounament saturday. One is Chartruse shad bleeding and one is AMERICAN shad. With 50% chance of rain who know what will happen now!!

Im almost scared to change to the new one though. The one iv been using now looks rough but as long as the fish still take it I'll keep using it. The chartreuse is about gone on the sides and lots of scraches all due to catching em :dance01:

For $18-$20 one would think these baits would have a better finish on them??? :D I can understand this on a $5 lure but on one that is 3-4 times more expensive come on.
