Is the G.Loomis worth the price?

I am looking to upgrade my casting rods and I can't decide between a G.Loomis or a St.Croix . I was also looking at Powell and Kistler but hadn't heard too much about them one way or the other.
What do you guys and gals think?

Can't afford them, Have fished with them and they are nice, but for me Falcon does just fine.
