Thinking of the last leg of my Rocky Mountain Fishing Journal (which I hope to finish later today) an idea popped into my head: How many states have my fellow Bassholes caught a fish in? By states, I don’t mean the various phases of sobriety, I’m talking about the good ol’ USA. Of the 50 states (or 57 if you’re a complete dope …) in how many have you tattered your thumb?

Currently, I have hit:

Massachusetts
New Hampshire
Vermont
New York
Florida
Utah
Wyoming
Idaho
Montana
Arizona

And this year I’m looking at Hawaii and Illinois (and possibly Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama.)

How about you? And, not to leave our Canadian pals in the lurch, please include provinces.

My sister lives in Honolulu so I'm going to try for some peacock bass there this November or December. There's a big reservoir in the middle of the island. She says there are some barracuda in a retention pond behind her apartment but I think she's mistaken.
