This is an update to a post I made years ago on the NAFC site.

IF you are on a strict budget / unemployed :tbh: like I am...you may be stuck using / looking for older fish finders & other electronics :sad2:

Fortunately...most of the major companies have recognized the need of support for older items...and created pdf manuals you can download for free for older equipment.
