Ok this is not a fishing tip but a terriffic money saving tip none the less. I use expensive razor blades, Mach 3 blades to be exact. Darn things are expensive haha. Anyway, if you want to make 1 blade last for months and months and months, Yep 1 blade can last that long, All you have to do is blow dry the blade once you have finished using it.

Clean it the same way by running it under water just blow dry it dry before setting it back into it's carriage. Water is what makes them get dull not our beard hair. Small rust develops on the blade edge making them get dull. I am using the same blade since Septemeber 2006 and it is still very sharp and doesn't cut me.

Another way to make them last is to dip them in alcohol once you have rinsed it clean. This will wick away the water then store it back in it's carriage. Alcohol will evaporate and not rust the blades. So perhaps some of you that are blow dryer challenged can use some old aftershave or rubbing alcohol. :neener:

Now take that Gillette and shove your high priced razor blades you know where :dance01: :victory:

Always a comedian in the bunch :lmao:

Actually I don't shave all that much either as I work from home. That is why I have been able to use the same exact blade since September. But even still, this tip will make those blades last a rediculous amount of time.

I thought you all would like this tip to help you save some dough to allow you to buy more important things like lures :D

Thanks Keith, gonna have to try the alcohol approach. Gonna tell the wife to use the blow dryer, or she can do my razor with the blow dryer too ;)
