Fishing has been really good this fall. We have had some fluctuating weather lately which has made the fish spread out more than desire, but we are still having some productive days. The forecast is for cooler and colder weather for the next couple of weeks and that should really help our fishing. I have been fishing the north end of our bay system using live shrimp under a popping cork. We have been catching some very nice speckled trout, red fish, flounder, drum and sheepshead. Finding active bait and fishing the beginning of the incoming and outgoing tides have produced the best results. I will continue to fish this area until February and then head back to lower Galveston. Don't forget that this time of the year can be very rewarding. Until next time, see you on the water.
