·a friend told me that some big walleyes are being caught on the main lake points on Carters, and that they are catching them by throwing a Shad Rap (Rapala).
The fellow that was fishing up there had caught an 7 lbs. and a 5 lbs. walleye, along with several decent spotted bass, and a catfish.
Carters' Lake is not known for it's population of walleyes, but the ones that you catch are usually 5 lbs. or bigger. Lake Blue Ridge, which is a few miles from Carters', is better known for it's quantity of walleyes, but they do not carry the size that Carters' has.
