Despite the dropping water the last couple of weeks good size fish are still being caught on the river in the shallow. Hit the backwaters hard. The southern end of pool 13 is starting to bring up some heavy pads and grass and I expect the frog bite to be getting really good really quick if not already. North end is still running behind without much weed growth to speak of so far, but it won't be long there either.

Oh I'm catching some lip When I get back from vacation the frog bite should be outstanding. You can get bit now on a frog in lower pool, but in a week or 2 it'll be good.
