What is yalls favorite lube oil? I personally use gun oil. It works perfectly and cost less than most of the brand name lubricates.

Um, I think the stuff that I use is from Berkley. LOL It's been used so long that the label has come off. LOL
Ive used a bunch of different types and for a while I was using Abu Garcias, but I switched to Quantums Hot Sauce a while back. its awesome lube!

how often do you oil?? do you take your reel all apart to oil it or just the worm gear??
To be honest, I just send mine off to be cleaned etc..
I tried a bunch and found that Royal Purple synfilm 32 works great.
I don't have to oil the reels that much now since I have been using it.
I have heard the ardent reel butter is good.
:soda:
reel butter... that would go great with my garlic spray...

Why do i always want to put those things on my crackers??
Remind me not to eat any crackers you offer me.
I use Tuf Oil on my boat compartment locks and on plug to ensure they remain ice free in winter and remain rust free and easy to turn in summer. Just one single drop does the trick. Use it on my reels as lubricant as well. One bottle has lasted three years - best stuff I have ever used. Made for automotive use - but I use it for fishing purposes.
