Brown Trout are already running and have been here in NY, how about elsewhere?

Don't know if means anything, but my adopted cousin, Chris, went fishing like a week and a half ago, at a creek just down from my aunt's house, and he said that he caught 20 rainbows, the biggest being around 12" long. He kept his limit to eat.

Yeah most of the runners are small I guess. I dont know if thats a good thing of keeping those Rainbows...haha I am all catch and release...

It's a stocked creek. That's how most of the trout streams around here are. Most of the folks that fish for them keep them. They are stocked at every major holiday, so that's like 7 times a year.

Every other Thursday at Beavers Bend in Oklahoma they release trout into the river/lake. You are only allowed to keep 5 a day and it has to be the first five you catch. NO catch and release. I was going to go but haven't had the chance to. Maybe I can in a couple of weeks.

Rainbows and salmon are running here...

Browns! Wow that's VERY early for browns to be up the tribs. They usually dont come up til Jan-Feb!

Idk if they screwed up the reports or what, I belive the Steelies running, but Browns? lol I am going to go this week, so Ill let you all know how I do, I am so dang excited!!!
