Well, let me tell you one thing...
Mid 40's water temps, Mid 40's air temps, 20+mph winds, a moving front and over cast skies make a VERY VERY tough Santee Cooper! LOL
I kid you not when I say I did not even get a bite! lol My buddy, Ziggy, who I was fishing with didnt get a bite either... as a matter of fact only 3 peope in our club got a bite. At the scales only 4 fish were weighed in. I've never seen such a small weigh in.
The winner had 10.06 with two fish, one fish being 5.66lbs
Although I didnt catch a thing, I still had a good time especially when we rode. The wind was up so high that the lake was full of 6+ foot rollers and it made for a bumpy ride full of lots of "Yeeehawwwwws!!" as we caught air! lol The only negative thing was the face full of stinging ice water that I occassionally got lol I am definitely buying a Fish Hedz mask lol ( http://www.savephace.com/The-Gear/Simply-Sick-Series )
