Caught these this summer in one of many many favorite trout brooks. The smaller one is an average brook trout for my waters, being 10 inches long.

I have to wait until the last Saturday in April before I can legally fish brookies up here again. :-\

OMG MAN! I agree 101% with Rich! Stomach growling and mouth watering! I havent eaten fresh trout since I moved to SC back in 94! I will have to venture northwest this spring and see if I cant catch me a few for the freezer

My mouth is watering too!! Nice looking brookies.
Brings back memories of hitting the native streams in the mountains of PA during the winter when they aren't frozen solid and the fish are starving for a redfin or redworm floated under the edge of the ice.
