Okay, can anyone tell me what bait BEST imitates, COLOR WISE, a Blue Herring here on Clarks Hill? I don't care if it is a top-water, crank bait or even plastic.

Any ideas?

I have access to live herring. What I am looking for is an artificial bait/baits that mimic the color effectively.

Also, if the fish are in a finicky mood, there is a blue color trick worm that Zoom produces in both the flukes and the trick worms, that would be a GREAT color.  Just throw it weightless and it should pick up a few fish.
