Ive read a bit about them but have never tried them.

Are they as good as they are claimed to be Coach?

A Black Salty is a goldfish that has been bred for a recessive gene. Check them out here:

There was also an articicle in the last BASS Times. The saltwater guys in TX have been suing them for a few years...now it looks like they are crossing over.

Nope. Can't use any kind of goldfish for bait in Illinois. Don't think you can use them in Wisconsin, either. Too bad, cuz they look like they could do the job.

I never heard of people using goldfish....one time when i bought some minnows there was a gold colored minnow, i was wondering if it was a goldfish or if it was just an odd colored minnow.
